Table of Contents A B C D E F H I J K L List of Appendices G 6.5 GSOCARES allows employee(s) to remain anonymous or identify themselves to report alleged violations of this policy. An employee can access GSOCARES online at https://greensboro. ethicaladvocate.com to enter a report. If the employee has concerns with remaining anonymous when using a City computer, the employee can use their personal computer or other personal device to access the website. An employee may also contact GSOCARES by calling 844-379-4457. A representative will enter the report into the GSOCARES online system for the employee. 6.6 The P&C Department will notify the following individuals of any complaints of alleged violations of this policy when initiating an investigation: City Manager, Deputy City Manager, or Assistant City Manager assigned to the employee(s) department(s); Executive Director(s); Department Director(s) where the complainant and the accused work; P&C Director; and the Deputy Director of Human Rights. 6.7 The P&C Department will investigate all complaints of alleged violations of this policy. The P&C Department will also: P&C Employee Success Partnership Division prior to placing an employee on Paid Administrative Leave. There is a Paid Administrative Leave Notice that must be completed by the supervisor and the accused. 5.7 Investigations will be conducted in a fair, impartial and appropriate manner. 6.0 PROCEDURES 6.1 If an employee believes there is an immediate danger, the employee should call 911 and request police assistance. Using office phones and/or the central phone system must dial 9 first. 6.2 There may be times when employees choose to address these types of unwanted and unwelcome behaviors and actions with the accused. This is acceptable as long as no danger exists. 6.3 If the employee is uncomfortable with addressing the accused or if the offending behavior continues, the employee should report the harassment and/or other discriminatory conduct within one business day or as soon as possible to one of the following persons: A. Supervisor or manager in the employee’s supervisory chain B. Departmental P&C Representative C. P&C Employee Success Partnership Division D. P&C Senior Manager E. P&C Director 6.4 Any supervisor, manager or other departmental representative who either observes or receives a complaint of an alleged violation(s) of this policy must notify the P&C Department Employee Success Partnership Division within one business day or as soon as possible.
