protected. 5.6 City employees should expect that any information created, transmitted, downloaded, exchanged, or discussed in an online platform may be seen by the public and brought to the attention of the CMO and/or their department/division leadership. City employees should be aware that their communications, regardless if they identify themselves as working for the City or the venue used, may adversely impact their employment. 6.0 PROCEDURES 6.1 Employees, who become aware of any alleged violation(s) of this policy, should report it to their supervisor and/or department leadership; the People & Culture Director, People & Culture Senior Manager, or People & Culture Employee Success Partnership. If the alleged violation involves postings and/or re-postings to social media sites, take screenshots of what was shared and provide them when reporting it. 6.2 Any supervisor or manager who observes or receives a complaint of an alleged violation(s) of this policy must notify People & Culture as soon as possible. 6.3 Employees who wish to remain anonymous can report alleged violation(s) of this policy through GSOCARES, either online at https://greensboro.ethicaladvocate.com or by calling 844-379-4457. A service representative will assist employees by entering the reports into the online system. If employees have concerns with anonymity when using their City computer, employees can use the toll-free phone number, employee’s personal computer, cell phone, or other device to access the website. Employees should remember to include any screenshot(s) and identify the employee who allegedly violated this policy if known. 6.4 People & Culture will notify and work with Department Directors and/or their designees when alleged violations of this policy are reported.
