Randleman at Vandalia Draft In the core of the study area, aging shopping centers are identified for revitalization and new housing is located along the transit corridor. To the east, the Vanadlia Road corridor is envisioned for modest infill development and a massive new park expansion beyond that currently envisioned around Brown Recreation Center.
Creek Ridge Gateway
South Greensboro Gateway This area includes two different urban design approaches. The western side along Rehobeth Church Road focuses on moderate density housing, while the area to the east calls for a more robust collection of interconnected urban mixed-use neighborhoods.
This area is envisioned as the northern gateway to south Greensboro. Designs serve to improve the image of the place, restore natural features, and create new mixed-use developments. The area north of Creekridge and along Ryan Creek is transformed from a strip commercial hodgepodge into a beautiful new district, matching the quality and character of nearby neighborhoods.
