The Payment Pipeline Architecture is a modular, replacement technology for our financially driven operator processes. At present it identifies BI data entry errors and over time will be extended to incorporate all of our financial processes from payment Collection to GL reporting.

Positive Pay Totals
An application to discover, track, and issue Privilege Licenses for businesses that reside in the City of Greensboro. It creates physical Privilege Licenses, generates letters for business as they move through the licensing process, sends financials to accounting through Lawson, renews and un-licenses businesses who meet certain criteria, etc. It also allows businesses to pay balances due online for Privilege Licenses. There is a public facing portion that allows new businesses to initiate the Privilege License process online by filling out a form with the requested information. A program that processes data downloaded from Lawson and transforms it into the specific format required for 1099 electronic submission to State and Federal agencies.

Retiree Cost of Health and Dental Benefits
An application that processes Lawson data to provide information on the retiree cost of health and dental insurance benefits.
An application that tracks surplus items as they are transferred between departments or go to City sale. An application to enter water, electric, gas, and other utility payments owed by the City for upload into Lawson for the eventual production of checks that are distributed to the utilities for payment.

An application for the public to determine the status of an assessment, water lien, or abeyance on a property. This application integrates with the Water Customer Information System and the Collections Construction and Loan Control system. Includes an internal portion with reports and additional information, as well as an external portion for general public use. An application that builds a custom electronic file to transfer data related to employees, and their dependents, who are eligible for dental insurance coverage with Delta Dental. An application that builds a custom electronic file to transfer the data of the flexible spending plan coverage of employees.
