October 11 | 8-11 am | NC A&T State University Halloween Extravaganza Get spooky this Halloween at Hester Park with spooky trails, bon fires, yard games, music, and crafts. October 18 | 7-9:30 pm | Hester Park GYC's Ghoulash A downtown Halloween event for families with candy, games, a costume contest, and more hosted by the Greensboro Youth Council and Greensboro Downtown Parks. October 25 | Center City and LeBauer Parks and Greensboro Cultural Center | 2:30-5:30 pm Howl-o-ween Calling all four-legged and two-legged friends! Put on your best costume and join us and Guilford County Animal Resources for this extra special trick or treat event. There will be both dog and human treats! October 26 | Country Park | 1-4 pm

October Art in the Arboretum

This juried art and fine craft event is held in partnership with Greensboro Beautiful. It will feature local artists exhibiting their hand-crafted offerings in an outdoor gallery. There will also be live entertainment, interactive art activities, food and beverage vendors, and more. October 5 | Greensboro Arboretum | 1-5 pm The Ballers Tournament in Honor of Anthony King Honor and celebrate the memory of a former Glenwood basketball and football player that tragically lost his life to gun violence in 2020. Help raise awareness to the affects of gun violence on families and communities. Ages 13-50 | October 4 | 12 noon to 5 pm | Glenwood Recreation Center | Registration Required Aggie Fan Fest Celebrate the "Greatest Homecoming on Earth" at Aggie Fan Fest! Enjoy live music and vendors selling food, beverages, and apparel and celebrate NC A&T homecoming.
