CHAPTER CONTENTS
Environmental stewardship and sustainability have never been more important. Residents have clearly stated the need for more green space, green infrastructure, flood prevention, wildlife habitat, and tree canopy. Parks and open spaces are vital to the ecological system, serving as green infrastructure that supports biodiversity, enhances air and water quality, and delivers essential ecosystem services.
