01 Elevate the richness, value, and positive attributes of south Greensboro. » Launch a collective campaign to highlight the many positive efforts, improvements, attributes, and activities taking place in south Greensboro. » Hold property owners accountable for property/facility upkeep, lighting, trash and maintenance as well as fair housing. » Track and celebrate accomplishments and steps toward plan implementation. 02 Empower and engage community groups in the study area to guide the implementation of this plan and help keep the community informed of ongoing implementation efforts. » Create regular communication with the community to exchange information on infrastructure projects and other happenings in the study area. » Encourage coordination and organization of businesses along Randleman Road. » Involve association representatives who are trusted community champions to reestablish community trust. » Promote regular roundtables that foster collaboration across various stakeholder groups in south Greensboro. » Continue to work with the neighborhoods and businesses to inform the prioritization of action plans – and inform stakeholders about plan progress. Capacity, Communication, and Partnership Recommendations for capacity-building, communication, partnerships, crime prevention, and community appearance are provided below.
