On the exit ramp from I-85 onto US Highway 220, residents of the Brookstone Community, especially those on Meadow Oaks Drive, report noisy truck downshifting on neighboring interstate exist, disrupting sleep and affecting quality of life. Freight Truck Traffic and Parking On Rehobeth Church Road, trucks heading to Food Lion, Dollar Tree, UPS, and Walmart cut through neighborhoods to bypass traffic. South Elm-Eugene Street, from Industrial Ave. to Webster Road, sees heavy truck traffic from Chandler Concrete, UPS, and JB Hunt, particularly along Montcastle Drive. Randleman Road, from Industrial Avenue to Hwy 220, also experiences truck congestion. Pleasant Garden Road also faces an influx of UPS trucks and
