Lindley Summer Bash Jump start your summer with a little fun for the entire family! Join us for water games, a slip-n-slide, music, treats, and prizes. May 25 | 1-4 pm | Lindley Recreation Center Tune In & Tune Up Join us as we celebrate National Bike Month! Tune in to some good music while you tune up your bike! We'll have a DJ spinning some tunes and volunteer bike mechanics providing simple bicycle tune-ups. Learn about the "ABC Quick Check" and basic bike maintenance while enjoying the company of other folks who like to ride. May 29 | 6-8 pm | LoFi Park, Downtown Greenway Celebrate National Trails Day with us! This year's event will offer tons of trail related activities for all ages including hikes, bike rides, crafts, kids activities, music, raffles, and more! Thanks to VF Corporation for supporting this year's event. June 1 | 9 am to 12 noon | Country Park Community Yard Sale Enjoy an outdoor yard sale at Brown Recreation Center. Those wanting to sell household items can purchase a space for only $10. Admission to shop is free. Spaces are limited. June 1 | 11 am to 1 pm | Brown Recreation Center World Promenade Grab your friends and family (two and four legged) and stroll through the garden while experiencing the sights, sounds, and food from around the world - including a crowd favorite - the Pooch Parade! June 2 | 1-5 pm | Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden Aloha to Summer Say hello to summer with us at Warnersville Pool! Get ready for a tropical luau to kick off school being out for the summer and the pools being open! June 7 | 5-7 pm | Warnersville Pool June National Trails Day

May Wheels on the Greenway Bring your wheels out for this annual Greensboro tradition along the Downtown Greenway! Community partners offer interactive activities, safe cycling education, bicycle repair, demonstrations, and more. Bikes, trikes, scooters, strollers, and skateboards are welcome. May 4 | 9 am to 12 noon | Woven Works Park, Downtown Greenway Yappy Hour It's time for the pups to party! Leashed dogs of all sizes are welcome to join the fun with splash pools, doggie treats, prize drawings, and more. May 17 | 5-7 pm | LoFi Park, Downtown Greenway Superhero Bash Kids dress up as real or made-up superheroes and come to superhero bash to show off your costume. Kryptonite candy and drinks (green rock candy and green drinks) are provided. May 18 | 10:30 am to 2 pm | Lindley Center Architect of Black Space and Greensboro Parks and Recreation are excited to partner to present the inaugural Gate City Street Night Market. A curated space to buy local, buy used, and support local Black owned businesses.
