COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT

The Information Technology Department, with guidance from GPD when needed, is responsible for assisting Departments to make decisions on camera selection and camera placement.

The Information Technology Department will review proposals and assist in vendor selection for new installations and/or upgrades.

The responsibility of maintenance and testing will be a shared between IT and the requesting Department.

The IT Department will have the responsibility of removing video access to individuals immediately after being identified by their Department Director.

The City of Greensboro understands and takes very seriously its responsibility to provide timely access to public records in accordance with NC's public records laws, which include but are not limited to NC General Statutes chapters 132 and 160-A-168.
