How to Share your Desktop when in a Conference or IM Session 1. To share your screen with other conference participants or IM session users, click on the icon at the bottom of your screen that resembles a computer monitor. 2. Once you’ve shared your desktop, if you wish to pass control of your mouse to another user within your meeting (i.e. help desk staf member), select the ‘Give Control’ drop down menu at the top of the screen and select the user you wish to pass control to.

3. When you fnished sharing your desktop, press the ‘Stop Presenting’ button in the upper right corner to stop your sharing session.

How to Reset Your Password: Create a “Self Service Password Reset” account today, so you will never be locked out again. It serves as a backup system if you ever get locked out or can’t remember your password. Follow these steps, and you’ll never have to worry about calling 2322 to reset your password. 1. Browse to from any device to enroll: https://reset.greensboro-nc.gov/ You will log in with the same username and password you normally use to login to your computer. 2. You will be required to select one of the security questions to complete your enrollment. Hint: if you chose to have a text message(SMS) sent to you, be sure open the text message and type in the code number sent which should be a 5 digit pin number (not the six digit number that the pin code is sent from). 3. Log out after completing your enrollment. 4. If you get locked out or can’t remember your password, browse: https://reset.greensboro-nc.gov/ from any device or click switch user from a city computer and select “Reset my password.”
