January 1 | Laurel Bluff Trail | 12 noon to 4 pm Camille's Closet & Theo's Threads Formal Wear Drive The Camille's Closet and Theo's Threads Formal Wear Drive collects new and gently worn prom wear, shoes and accessories to provide them free of charge to middle and high school students who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Donations accepted January 26-February 27 February National Girls and Women in Sport Day Greensboro Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Day of Play for girls ages 5-16 to celebrate National Girls and Sport Day (NGSD). The event will focus on providing instruction on a variety of sports while encouraging active lifestyles, socialization, and quality of life. February 7 | Lewis Recreation Center | 11 am to 1 pm Women's College Basketball Watch Party Women's basketball fans can come enjoy fun and fellowship over basketball, games and refreshments . 13+ | Xperience @ Caldcleugh | February 14 | 8-10:30 pm Bridging the Triad Participants will compete as individuals in four age groups: 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, and adult. Bridges will be judged based on how much weight it will support, divided by the total mass of the structure. Saturday | 10 am to 12 noon | Griffin Recreation Center | Local competition February 7 | Regional competition February 28 Winter Wipeout Litter is so much more visible during the winter months, which makes it seem like there is so much more! February 1-28 March Battle of Guilford Courthouse Reenactment Country Park hosts the Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, a Revoluntionary War battle. Reenactors come from all over the east coast to participate. The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park has demonstrations and educational talks throughout the weekend. March 15-16 | Country Park | 10 am to 5 pm
