Donations accepted January 26-February 27 February National Girls and Women in Sport Day Greensboro Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Day of Play for girls ages 5-16 to celebrate National Girls and Sport Day (NGSD). The event will focus on providing instruction on a variety of sports while encouraging active lifestyles, socialization, and quality of life. February 7 | Lewis Recreation Center | 11 am to 1 pm Women's College Basketball Watch Party Women's basketball fans can come enjoy fun and fellowship over basketball, games and refreshments . 13+ | Xperience @ Caldcleugh | February 14 | 8-10:30 pm Bridging the Triad Participants will compete as individuals in four age groups: 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, and adult. Bridges will be judged based on how much weight it will support, divided by the total mass of the structure. February 1-28 March Battle of Guilford Courthouse Reenactment Country Park hosts the Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, a Revoluntionary War battle. Reenactors come from all over the east coast to participate. The Guilford Courthouse National Military Park has demonstrations and educational talks throughout the weekend.
