Lindley Summer Bash Jump start your summer with a little fun for the entire family! Join us for water games, water slide, music, treats, and prizes. May 24 | Lindley Recreation Center | 1-4 pm

Our 10th Annual Wheels on the Greenway event is back! This Greensboro tradition is a FREE community event that celebrates wheels of all kinds - such as bikes, trikes, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades - and encourages people of all ages to get out on the Downtown Greenway for a morning of fun! Enjoy safety education, helmet giveaways, demonstrations, prizes, and more. May 3 | Downtown Greenway, Woven Works Park | 9 am to 1 pm A Day with Mom A fun family event of painting, games, and food to celebrate Moms. There will be painting on canvas, brunch, and vendors. May 10 | Lewis Recreation Center | 11 am to 1 pm Adult Recess Adult Recess is a 21+ ONLY, free event that allows adults to be kids for a night! There will be nostalgic playground games, a DJ playing old hits, food and beverage vendors, complete access to the sprayground, and so much more! You must be 21 or older, with ID, to get in. No coolers or outside alcohol are allowed. May 16 | Barber Park Sprayground | 6-9 pm ECO Bus Open House Ever seen the ECO Bus parked at Lake Brandt and wondered what it looked like inside? Well wonder no more because the bus will be open to the public! We will showcase some of our many animal ambassadors. People will have a chance to see and touch some native and non-native animals and learn cool facts about each species. May 17 | Lake Brandt Marina | 10 am to 1 pm Tune In & Tune Up We're celebrating Bike Month, and invite you to come hang out along the Downtown Greenway at LoFi Park (5oo N. Eugene Street). We'll have a DJ spinning tunes, while volunteer bike mechanics provide simple bicycle tune-ups. Learn about the ABC Quick Check and some basic bike maintenance, while enjoying the company of other folks who like to ride. May 21 | Downtown Greenway, LoFi Park | 6-8 pm

June World Promenade

Experience cultures from around the world while never leaving Greensboro. This event highlights nature and artistry at their finest complete with a brilliant display of the garden in full bloom, artists, a children's area, food vendors, and even a pooch parade. June 1 | Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden | 1-5 pm National Trails Day National Trails Day events include guided hikes, bike rides, yoga, paddling demos, crafts, kids activities, music, raffles, and more! June 7 | Country Park | 9 am to 1 pm 2v2 Community Hoops Block Party 2v2 basketball tournament and community block party with a DJ, games, and food. June 7 | Lewis Recreation Center | 11 am to 2 pm
