ENERGY IN THE PARK

FREE ENERGY at the Park provides free, supervised activities and lunch at three neighborhood playgrounds. Sign up your 5- to 15-year-old child onsite at Hampton, Sussman Street, or Woodmere parks. Registration begins onsite on June 23. Various Locations Ages 5-15 | Monday-Thursday | June 23- August 7 | 10 $$$$ An inclusive summer day camp offers two three week sessions for individuals (ages 5+) with varying abilities. Hagan-Stone Park Monday-Friday | June 16-August 1 | 9 am to 3 pm COUNSELORS IN TRAINING $$ The Counselor in Training (CIT) program offers teens a chance to gain real work experience, service-learning hours, and leadership skills at summer camp locations. CIT takes place at community recreation centers. Recreation Centers Ages 13-17 | June 16-August 15 | 7:30 am to 6 pm ICAN SWIM CAMP $$$$ Camp teaches individuals with disabilities how to swim. Greensboro Aquatic Center Monday-Friday | June 16-20 | 8 am to 4 pm am to 2 pm CAMP JOY

$$$$ With nine locations throughout Greensboro, families love the convenience of our Recreation Center Camps. Each week is filled with activities including games, sports, wellness, outside time, and more. Free lunch is served daily. Ages 5-12 | Monday-Friday | 7:30 am-6 pm SERVICE LEARNING CAMP $$$$ 3 - 1 Week sessions focused on topics in the community. Location TBD Ages 15-18 | Monday-Friday | 10 am to 2 pm | June 23 27 | July 7-11 | July 14-18 TEEN XPERIENCE @ CALDCLEUGH $$$$ Too old for summer camp, too young to stay home alone? Teen Xperience @ Caldcleugh is for those kids! It’s got lots of day camp favorites, like trips to the pool, but all the activities are designed to keep older kids engaged. Xperience @ Caldcleugh Ages 12-15 | June 16-August 15 | 7:30 am to 6 pm XTREME TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP $$$$ Greensboro's outdoor adventure camp for teens 12-15 is for testing their limits with sailing, kayaking, hiking, climbing, and other outdoor recreation opportunities. with trips to natural areas throughout the Triad.
