Bryan Park Ages 10-35 | Fridays | September 5 to October 10 | 6-7:30 pm COMMUNITY OUTINGS FREE-$ Who doesn’t like to take an adventure? We go throughout the community to explore new places and socialize with peers. Fees include transportation. Various Locations Tuesdays | Various times FALL DANCE FREE Put on your dancing shoes and join your friends for the annual fall dance! Lindley Recreation Center October 21 | 6-8 pm FRIDAY BOWLING WITH SOCIAL HOUR $ A weekly program for enjoying bowling while socializing and meeting new friends in a fun and friendly environment. Triad Lanes Fridays | September 12 to November 14 | 10-11:30 am MOVIE DAY FREE Everyone loves the movies! Head on over to Caldcleugh and catch a movie and enjoy some of your favorite movie snacks. Open to individuals of all abilities. Xperience @ Caldcleugh September 10, 24 | October 8, 22 | November 12 | December 10 | 1-3 pm
FREE A free golf program for all military veterans that provides golf instruction taught by local PGA professionals. All abilities welcome and encouraged. Gillespie Golf Course Fridays | August 29 to October 3 | 1-3 pm TWEENS ON THE SCENE $-$$ Tweens on the Scene is a school day out program that will provide a needed recreational experience for participants with disabilities between the ages of 12 and 21 years old. The Tweens on the Scene experience will incorporate social interactions for our participants and developing independent skills in the community. Various Locations Ages 12-21 | October 2 & November 3 | 9:30 am to 2:30 pm INCLUSION SERVICES Please note all programs offered by Greensboro Parks and Recreation can offer adaptations for individuals who need accomodations. Make sure to request inclusion services when you register so the department can better serve you. Requests should be made when you register for a program, camp, or event and at least two weeks in advance of its start. This will allow us enough time to develop modifications and identify appropriate staff to have in place. Please note we do not provide one-on-one services.
