Come experience Native American culture through dances, music, art, storytelling, clothing, and socializing. September 20-22 | Country Park 15th Annual Downtown Greenway Run & Block Party Choose your distance to walk or run in the 1-mile or 5K event, and bring your friends, family, kids, and dogs! August 9 | 7:30 pm | Dorothy Brown Park Greensboro Youth Council Kick Of GYC will host its annual open house to share information for teens interested in serving their community through unique youth-run events. August 15 | Central Library | 6 pm Family Fun Day: Board Game Edition Family Fun Day with board games, food, music, and fun! Giant games, table-top games, an obstacle course, and more. August 23 | 5-7 pm | Lewis Recreation Center

September NC Folk Festival

The North Carolina Folk Festival is a free 3-day festival in downtown Greensboro. Open to all and showcasing multiple genres and artists from across the world. This year the festival celebrates its tenth year and will feature headlining performances each day, a family area, an expanded makers marketplace, food trucks, and a North Carolina stage to showcase North Carolina artists.
