Professional Service

North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks (NCAMC) NCAMC elected Lord as the District 9 Director, representing municipalities within eight counties, and as an At-Large member of the NCAMC Executive Committee.

International Institute of Municipal Clerks

Deputy City Clerk Torie Howell earned Certified Municipal Clerk certification from the NCAMC and IIMC.

DID YOU KNOW? The City Clerk’s Office collaborated with Church World Service in August to offer a tour of Greensboro’s City Hall to local refugees and immigrants. Along with other City staff, Clerk’s Office employees guided the group through key areas of local government and connected them with City Council members. The guests not only enjoyed a glimpse into Greensboro’s government, but also gift bags containing items from different City departments.
