Acceptable Use Policy

A CKNOWLEDG E MENT Employees remain subject to monitoring when connected to the network remotely. Communication over the network should not be considered private. Network supervision may require review and inspection of directories or messages. Privacy in communications over the network cannot be guaranteed. I acknowledge and agree that by law, everything that I do on this network may be subject to release pursuant to a public records request or a court order, and I have no expectation of privacy. Further, I understand that what I post and share on my personal Social Media account(s) can affect my employment as described in this and other City policies.

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. ยง95-25.8(a)(2), this advanced written authorization gives The City of Greensboro the authority to make deductions from any final wages to recover the expenses of all lost, damaged, or unreturned equipment issued to the employee upon separation.

I have read, understand, and agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
