LINDLEY PARK has a rich history, being one of Greensboro’s first Parks. The construction of Wendover Avenue has created a physical and social barrier within the separated portions of Lindley Park. By updating the pool and recreation center area with additional amenities and connections, Lindley Park will become a central place for all members of the community to visit.

PROPOSED AQUATICS PROGRAMMING • 6 lane pool with diving > Great for adults and older kids who swim > Basketball, possibly NinjaCross > Great for lessons • Waterslide catch zone (also great for lessons) • Waterslide into catch pool (used with inner tubes that connect to lazy river) • Waterslide with runout (terminates at deck elevation) • Lazy river with rotating vortex and bench seating zone • Circular zone for open play…water basketball, etc. (great for lessons) • Beach entry with interactive play structure with small slides, dumping bucket, etc.
