South Greensboro Area Plan

Woodlea Acres Park 1

Opportunities: » Enhance visibility into the park from surrounding streets by continuing to clear vegetation. » Improve access by allowing on street parking on the east side of Lakefield Drive along the park property edge. » Flatter areas around the existing playground and tennis courts could support additional park facilities, but some tree clearing may be necessary. » Improve the western edge and southern corner of the property to be more inviting; update/add signage, public art and lighting. » Consider a sidewalk/walking trail loop around the park perimeter.

Woodlea Acres Park is a 13.68 acre neighborhood park surrounded by residential areas to the north, east, and south. The western boundary includes a mix of undeveloped City of Greensboro-owned land and vacant private property.
