South Greensboro Area Plan

Redesigning the Randleman Road corridor with improved transit access and public realm enhancements can catalyze redevelopment and attract developers, nonprofits, and anchor institutions. The corridor suffers from aging strip malls, oversized parking lots, and poor pedestrian infrastructure. Urban design can help reconfigure these areas into compact, human scaled environments with mixed-use buildings, green infrastructure, and multimodal transportation.
