This concept envisions new walkable neighborhoods in place of vacant, underutilized, and unimproved land. As the southern part of the Randleman Road corridor continues to grow, developments connect existing roadways and neighborhoods. New development will create numerous mixed-use places and interconnected neighborhoods. Sites along the planned Crossmax Orange line can support densities and spatial arrangements that maximize transit access and locate residents close to new infrastructure and commercial services.
