In order to accommodate growth and achieve densities sufficient to make rapid transit more safe and viable along Randleman Road, the study area could incorporate a wider variety of urban infill, mixed-use, and multifamily building types. These can be designed to fit well into their surroundings, enhance the character and image of south Greensboro, and provide more market-rate housing to balance out the overall housing choices. “Missing” Housing Types
