Incorporate local cultural elements to foster community pride and identity. » Invest in aesthetically pleasing, well-maintained outdoor public spaces to improve the appearance and vibe of the public realm, as well as disrupt crime by reflecting care and creating a welcoming space for people to occupy. 05 Improve transportation infrastructure and access for all users, especially considering cultures that do not prioritize private automobile ownership and usage, relying instead on other modes of transportation. » Ensure that seniors, students and families with small children can safely navigate crosswalks by enforcing speed restrictions in designated senior and school zones by installing speed limit and truck traffic monitoring like on Friendly Avenue. Redirect/restrict the traffic to prevent illegal turns and preserve public safety. » Ensure that infrastructure and mobility investments reflect benefits to public stakeholders as well as newcomers. » Connect sidewalks, streets, and bus networks to equitably support communities with varying mobility needs.
