Service Learning Camp

Service Learning Camp Got a budding social justice warrior in the family? The Greensboro Youth Council’s Service Learning Camp would be a nice way for them to explore some important topics in our community – from hunger to the inclusion of individuals with disabilities. This year, the camp adds a third week, designed to introduce teens to working with older adults. Counselor in Training (CIT) Is your high schooler nervously eyeing graduation, wondering if their resume is up-to-snuff? They can get a bit of real world experience serving as a counselor in training at one of our community recreation center day camps . Youth Sumer Sports Clinics Summer is a great time to try something new. How about learning a new sport? Teens can try golf, field hockey, or

6. Sign up your 5-15-year old child onsite at Hampton and Woodmere parks. Registration begins onsite on June 22. Teen Night @ the Rec Teen Night smacks. Each night has its own vibe – glow in-the-dark dodgeball and e-sports tournament. Sign up at the beginning of summer and drop into any or all of the events, taking place at recreation centers citywide. And don’t forget to bring a friend!
