June 14 | Lindley Park | 6 pm June 28 | LeBauer Park | 6 pm Repainting the Black Lives Matter mural The mural on Elm St. will be revitalized, come out and enjoy art activities for the kids, music, and vendors. June 19 | 8 am to 5 pm | Elm Street Black Food Truck Festival Enjoy a variety of vendors from local merchandisers, food trucks, artists, and music. June 19 | 4-9 pm | E. Lindsay St. from Cumberland to N. Dudley St. Recliner to 5k Join for a run in the park, health screenings, and vendors. June 20 | 8 am to 1 pm | Barber Park Gospel Day in the Park This festival is a concert and reunion bringing together the community through traditional, contemporary, and urban music, song, and dance. Bring your family, and something to sit on. June 21 | 2-5:30 pm | Barber Park Summer Sunset Series @ Lake Brandt Watch the sunset on the lake with music, food beverages, games, and best of all...the sunset. June 23 | Lake Brandt Marina | 7-9 pm Celebrate America's 250th birthday with the annual Fun Fourth Festival in downtown Greensboro. The day starts with the Freedom Run at 7:30 am and continues with family-friendly festivities during the Freedom Fest. As the sun goes down, join us for a fireworks display to wrap up the celebration. July 4 | Downtown Greensboro | 1-6 pm July Fun Fourth Festival & Run

Celebrate the beauty and importance of our trails. Everyone is welcome to come out and engage with more than 40 trail-related community partners. Enjoy live music, prizes, food trucks, and free activities and demonstrations including guided hikes, mountain bike rides, birdwatching, geocaching, kayaking, and more! June 6 | Country Park | 9 am to 1 pm 2v2 Community Hoops Block Party 2v2 basketball tournament and community block party with a DJ, games, and food. June 6 | Lewis Recreation Center | 11 am to 2 pm World Promenade Experience cultures from around the world while never leaving Greensboro. This event highlights nature and artistry at their finest complete with a brilliant display of the garden in full bloom, artists, a children's area, food vendors, and even a pooch parade. June 7 | Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden | 1-5 pm Children's Fishing Tournament Children ages 6-12 will compete for prizes by catching fish in different categories. Registration is required. June 13 | 10-11 am | Lake Higgins Marina Color the Culture Tie Dye Celebrate freedom, culture and creativity at our Juneteenth Tie-Dye event. June 18 | 10 am to 12 noon | Peeler Recreation Center
