SAND VOLLEYBALL
FREE This program encourages mindfulness and a deeper connection to the environment reflected onto our journal pages. Get creative and write, sketch, doodle, and more! Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring some of your own too! Downtown Greenway, Meeting Place Ages 5+ | June 29 | 5:30-7 pm | 336-373-5826 NIGHT PADDLES $ Come out and enjoy the lake by moonlight. Bring your own boat or rent one of ours. Reservations are required. Lake Brandt, Lake Higgins, and Lake Townsend Ages 13+ | Dates TBD | 8-10 pm | 336-373-3741 OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL FREE Just like indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to the ground on the opponent’s side of the court. Lewis Recreation Center PEDAL BOATS $ Pedal a boat for up to 5 people around the lake. Country Park 10 am to 6 pm | Weekends only April 18 to May 24 | Daily May 25 to August 21 | Weekends only August 22 to October 25 PETANQUE OPEN PLAY FREE One of Europe's most popular outdoor games is a cousin of bocce. Players must provide equipment. Players of all skill levels are welcome. www.carolinapetanque.com.
