Smith Community Park and Lake Daniel Park All Ages SAND VOLLEYBALL FREE Just like indoor volleyball, except played on sand, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to the ground on the opponent’s side. Hester Park and Lake Daniel Park All Ages SKATE PARKS FREE Drop in on your skateboard, bike, inline skates, or scooter. Latham Skate Park and Glenwood Skate Spot All Ages | Dawn to Dusk SPRAYGROUNDS FREE Join us for fun in the sun and cool down at our outdoor spraygrounds. The 2024 season begins Memorial Day weekend. HORSESHOES FREE A lawn game using horseshoes and two throwing targets set in a lawn. These horseshoe pits are outdoors and available on a first come, first served basis. Smith Community Park All Ages ADAPTIVE PADDLING $ Offered in partnership with Get Outdoors Pedal and Paddle, this adaptive program is for individuals to learn paddling strokes and techniques. Registration is required. Lake Higgins Ages 18+ Experienced Paddlers Sessions | May 29, July 13, September 21 | 5:30-7 pm Skills Learning Sessions | June 22, August 14 | 10:30 am to 12 noon MOUNTAIN BIKE MINI CAMP $$ Join our Mountain Bike Mini Camp to build upon already learned mountain biking skills and techniques, and put those skills to the test trails throughout Greensboro.
