Initiative 1: Platform Migration for Housing and Neighborhood Development Department involves transitioning the technology infrastructure and applications to a new platform. This includes evaluating the current technology landscape, selecting a new system, testing and configuring the new environment, migrating data and applications, and providing training and support to users. Initiative 2: FirstNet Feasibility Study evaluates the potential of deploying a nationwide public safety broadband network (PSBN) for first responders. The study aims to assess the benefits and challenges of implementing the FirstNet network, such as improved interoperability, enhanced situational awareness, and faster response times, and to determine its feasibility for meeting the needs of public safety agencies.
