Training Training Responsibilities

This section is responsible for the training of all new emergency communications employees through an in-house Rookie School, and providing continuing education on a monthly basis to all existing employees. GM911’s training curriculum meets the APCO International’s Minimum Training Standards for Public Safety Telecommunicators and is APCO International’s Agency Training Program Certified. This certification validates the agency’s training curriculum to ensure it provides trainees with the required content and focuses on the demonstration of decision and psychomotor skills cited within the standards.
