NUSSBAUM HOUSING PARTNERSHIP REVOLVING FUND

Housing Strategy & Fiscal Administration: The Housing Strategy budget allocates funding to support city-wide housing programs. Administration provides executive leadership, planning, and administrative support for all functions and programs within the Nussbaum Fund. Homeless Prevention: The Homelessness Prevention program is managed by the Community Safety Department (CSD) and allocates funding to support homelessness prevention activities, including rapid re-housing, supportive services, innovative projects, and other permanent housing programs for persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. This includes the Greensboro Homeless Outreach Mobile Engagement program, which provides street-level outreach intervention and service coordination to unsheltered individuals at the highest risk of engaging with law enforcement, as well as the Winter/ Summer emergency shelter programs. The CSD also manages federal grants, such as those from the U.S. Department of Housing and Development, which address homelessness in Greensboro. Asset Management: The Asset Management budget allocates funding to support maintenance and disposition of City-owned assets under the control of the Housing & Neighborhood Development or Planning Departments.
