The City of Greensboro is located in central piedmont North Carolina, midway between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. The Town was incorporated in 1808 and is the county seat of Guilford County. Greensboro has a Ŷ ĞƐƚŝŵĂƚĞĚ population of 3 ϬϮ͕Ϯϵϲ and presently covers a land area of approximately 139.4 square miles. In the past 10 years

population growth has averaged ϭ͘ Ϯ percent per year. Since 2020, 4.4 square miles or 2,816 acres were added, an increase of 3.3 percent.
