FINAL ADOPTED BUDGET FY2022-23

SPECIAL TAX DISTRICTS FUND Budget Highlights: The FY 22-23 Adopted Budget is increasing by $190,000, or 14.6%.  The Historic Tax District funds are typically used for projects such as maintenance and repair to signs, fences, trash receptacles, landscaping, and streetscape enhancements.  The Dunleath neighborhood is updating their workplan by prioritizing projects for the 2022-2025 plan cycle.  During FY 21- 22, Downtown Greensboro Inc. (DGI) partnered with the City to create the BORO Social District and facilitated extension of premises approvals for downtown restaurants and bars.  During FY 22-23, College Hill District will repair and upgrade decorative street name signs.  The historic districts and the business improvement district will maintain their current designated property tax rates.
