May Movies in the Park Join us through the summer for free, family friendly movies at the Barber Park Amphitheatre. May 7, 21, June 25 | Barber Park Intro to Composting Learn how to turn yard and food waste into high-quality compost, to use in your garden. Join Parks and Recreation and the Greensboro Recycling and Waste Reduction Team, for a 2-hour beginners class in home composting, at Keeley Park Communi ty Garden. June Trails Day

Parks and Recreation and community partners will celebrate the 2022 Greensboro Trails Day from 9 am to 12 noon, Saturday, June 4, at Country Park. This event will a feature guided hikes and moun tain bike ride, BMX demo by the Piedmont Fat Tire Society, Yoga by the Lake, a bike rodeo, paddling opportunities and demonstrations by Get: Outdoors Paddlesports, a demonstration of how dogs help manage geese at our parks by Goose Masters, crafts, and more!
