We have a summer camp for every kid! Here’s the scoop on all our convenient, affordable camp options for kids ages 5-18. Camp registration begins March 1 at www.greensboro-nc.gov/summer

RECREATION CENTER DAY CAMP 5-12 years | M-F | 7:30 am to 6 pm

If your family needs affordability and convenience, you can’t beat the recreation center day camp. We offer camps at ten centers citywide, early-morning drop-off hours, and free lunch for kids for just $85 per week. Fee assistance for families with financial need is also available. Weekly sessions run June 20 to August 18. Kids, ages 5 to 12 also get special sessions from professionals across the department. They’ll learn camp songs, explore the gardens, learn a sport, and perfect their cannonballs alongside experienced staff. Kids must have completed kindergarten to attend camp. CAMP JOY 5+ years | M-F | 9 am to 3 pm If you have a family member 5 years old or older with a disability, Camp Joy is a great way to get an inclusive summer camp experience. Weekly sessions run June 20 to August 4 and are $65 per week. Camp Joy, located at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, has arts and crafts, fishing, daily swimming, and a camp talent show. Blended Mobility Week is for people with physical disabilities. This camp is open for individuals of any ability. ICAN SWIM CAMP 3+ | June 19-23 | Greensboro Aquatics Center A camp designed to teach people with disabilities and special needs basic water safety and how to swim. Classes last one hour, and cost $175 per participant.
