ZONE FOOTBALL AND CHEER $$ R.E.D. ZONE football and cheer program is a joint Greensboro, High Point, and Thomasville program. It promotes recreation, education, and development to provide a positive opportunity for youth ages 5-13 to participate on an organized team and structured activity during the fall season. Activities emphasize safety, correct fundamental skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and positive body image. Participants will learn socialization skills and a positive body image from adult role models and coaches. Glenwood, Leonard, Lewis, Peeler, and Warnerwville Recreation Centers Ages 5-13 | Weekly | August-November Registration April 7-July 25 SPORTSPLEX OPEN PLAY BASKETBALL $ Bring your A-game and challenge friends or meet new opponents in friendly matches. Open play runs Monday through Friday, ofering plenty of opportunities to hoop it up after school or work. Early birds enjoy a special rate of $5 before 4 pm, and $6 after 4 pm. Call for availability. Greensboro Sportsplex 18+ | Monday-Friday | 3-9 pm | Saturdays & Sundays | 12 noon to 6 pm | 336-373-3272 SPORTSPLEX OPEN PLAY PICKLEBALL $ Grab your racket and challenge friends or meet new opponents in these friendly rounds of play. Open play runs Monday through Friday, ofering plenty of opportunities to get moving throughout the week. Play is $2 per person. Call for availability.
