Discover Greensboro Guide Summer 2020

ADULT RECESS Leave the kids at home! Adult Recess is a free, nostalgia- fueled romp -- exclusively for people 21 and older -- at the sprayground at Barber Park. Bring your bathing suit and get ready to challenge new and old friends to classic playground games, including foursquare, tetherball, and hopscotch, and more modern classics like cornhole. The human Foosball court will be set up, as well as massive Twister and checker boards. A DJ will be playing music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. And don’t forget the bounce houses. They’re not just for children. Beer and hot food from local vendors will be for sale. Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation or a ride-share to this event.
