PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project will fund the acquisition of parks, open space, and greenways as identified in the City's Connections 2025 Plan, the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, and BiPed Plan. Funds will be used to purchase parkland necessary to meet current and future demands, open space, parks in proposed developments, natural heritage areas, and other critical habitats or environmental-sensitive areas. This project is also consistent with the City's MAP Goals (Maintain Infrastructure and Provide Sustainable Growth Opportunities, Create an Environment to Promote Economic Development Opportunities and Job Creation).
