Construction of new water lines and replacement of old water lines if they are fully depreciated. Construction of new sewer lines and replacement of old sewer lines if they are fully depreciated. Construction of new and replacement of stormwater projects. Renovations or additions to an existing fixed asset that will materially increase its value. Capital expenditures not belonging to the City. Transfer of funds to provide funding for future capital purchases. Sedans, compact cars, trucks or vans purchased by City departments that are used to conduct City business. Tractors, back-hoes, etc. used by City departments. Personal computers used by City departments to perform City work of $5,000 or more. Items costing at least $5,000 and typically having a useful life of greater than one year which are purchased on an installment contract.
