2025 Health Fair Vendor Guide

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro began building

homes with volunteers in 1987. Since then, we have helped over 540 families to achieve their dreams of homeownership.

Habitat Greensboro works toward our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to live. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside

volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

We believe that owning a home is a major milestone on the road to a family’s financial success, and a key component of our community’s economic stability.

Safe and stable housing is transformational for families who have loved ones with significant health challenges. For David who was diagnosed with MS in 2011, being able to maneuver his wheel chair from room to room easily and safely and to have access to a handicapped bathroom is truly life-changing. They finally have a home where David is comfortable and everyone has their own space. “ We had to go through many obstacles to have a house for my husband and my children. We’ve never had a place we could call home until we found this organization.” -Martha, Habitat Greensboro Homeowner

Kelli had long dreamed of owning a home. Having experienced homelessness in 11th grade, Kelli was committed to creating a different life for herself and her daughter Monet. After completing her BS at Winston-Salem State University, MSW at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Ph.D. work with Walden University, she now works as a Family Advocate, but student loan debt kept her from realizing her dream. “It’s my heart’s deepest desire to own a stable home of my own: for safety, for permanency. We look forward to feeling an inner sense of peace and stability.” -Kelli, Habitat Greensboro Homeowner
